Metro Boomin's 'Creepin' is a cover version of Mario Winans and P. Diddy's 2004 hit 'I Don't Wanna Know.' According to Metro, the idea to do a new version of the song came from his manager Amir "Cash" Esmailian, who knew that The Weeknd had been wanting to do something with the song for a while. Having got the go-ahead from Mario Winans to reinterpret the song, Metro approached The Weeknd with 'Creepin' without telling the singer he already knew he would be receptive to the idea.
